- Hi:
- I have obtained a copy of demacs 1.20. After hours of installing it, I
- finally got it running. However, there are two things that I could not
- get it to work right.
-
- 1) Putting (load-library "bobcat") in my _emacs did not swap the
- backspace and Del.
-
- 2) I could not get the "mark-command" from my keyboard. I tried
- using ^h-k to help me determine the bindings, and typing
- c-@ on the keyboard gave me this sequence instead: c-@ c-c.
-
- Could someone please end my agony? Thanks in advance.

- Keith,
-
- I see that the first question has already been answered. For some
- reason I have yet to fathom, none of the C-@ sequences are accessible
- in demacs. You'll also find that the keypad keys can't be customized
- as you'd normally do it in emacs; you have to send ANSI sequences to
- the keyboard and reset them when you leave demacs.
-
- Anyway, to answer 2., you'll the Insert key will set a mark for you.
-
- Ciao,
