  13. I am running on an SGI Indigo under Irix 4.0.5.

  15. When I specify bash as my shell, it seems bash thinks my terminal is only 7
  16. characters wide, and places linefeeds after seven characters in a line.
  17. This does not happen if I launch bash from an existing csh.
