- Animals exhibit reprehensible behaviour. There is no reason to
- justify human actions based on evidence that other animals exhibit
- the same behaviour. Ought we eat our children and leave the sick
- to die?

-
- Actually, as far as I know, homosexuality tends to show up in
- overpopulated mammalian communities. Ie. too many rats in a closed
- cage will start to exhibit such behaviour. Clearly it is quite
- natural for animals to perform homosexual acts, as well as auto-
- erotic acts.

-
- To be quite honest, such proof is irrelevant. This thread
- started with a discussion of certain laws which were to be
- used discriminately in cases where homosexuality is involved.
- In a truly color/sex/sexuality-blind law environment, such
- discriminatory laws are self-fulfilling, and self-contradictory,
- as not only to they further discriminate, as well as giving
- names to the groups that they discriminate both for and against,
- but in doing so perpetuate an atmosphere of tolerance for
- discrimination.
-
- Laws which help those who have been discriminated against
- themselves discriminate against those who supposedly haven't
- been discriminated against, thus once these laws are in effect,
- everybody is discriminated against, and perhaps new laws to
- help those who are being discriminated against because they
- weren't discriminated against before will have to be made.
- The logic goes in circles and the laws weave a chaotic
- mess for us to have to trudge through. Ultimately, it looks
- like anti-discrimination laws help no one but the lawyers.
