  19. SCAN V97 is known to generate an exception error when run with some
  20. memory managers under DOS.  I have not had any reports of problems
  21. running it in a VDM (DOS session) under OS/2 V2.  I would recommend
  22. that you upgrade to the current version of SCAN, 97-B.  It can be
  23. found in the Simtel20 archives or any of its mirror sites, or in the
  24. pub/antivirus directory of the mcafee.com site (IP# 192.187.128.1) as
  25. scanv97b.zip.

  30. You may wish to considering installing the OS/2 V2.00 Service Pak.

  40. PS: SCAN 97-B with the /UNATTEND switch (required for Windows or OS/2
  41. DOS sessions) runs great on my PC: 483-33 clone with OS/2 V2.00 with
  42. Service Pak installed.
