  11. I am about to start a fairly large project for a client and need to know
  12. whether ODT 2.0 or UNIX 2.3.4 (current levels, whatever they are) is the
  13. appropriate develpoment/delivery system. We will be connecting PCs with
  14. both Ethernet and highspeed modems to the delivery system. The
  15. application is image creation, storage, and retrieval. The plan is to
  16. use the PCs for both creation and retrieval and the UNIX system for
  17. storage. We plan to use a multi-level system with spinning magnetic
  18. media, online optical media, and offline optical media which will be
  19. mounted on request. Obviously I need the full development system for
  20. myself and runtime only for the delivered clients.

  22. So gurus, which is better/cheaper/easier to use? ODT or UNIX?
