- Its funny, a lot of of the systems that have these long-winded command
- names and options (ever used VM/CMS?) have a method of shortening the
- commands to something that's less demanding on one's typing abilities.

- E.g. on VM/CMS (I haven't used it for a while so excuse any
- inaccuracies) the command to copy one file to another is really called
- "copyfile" but most people use CMS abbreviations to allow them to run
- it as "co" (one letter difference from 'cp' ignoring ASCII/EBCDIC :-)
