  12. Only got one response from my last post and that waas not the problem
  13. but thank you anyway.

  15. Here is my problem:

  17. I am trying to get xcdplayer to work on a tatung compstation 25 running
  18. sunos 4.1.2.  It is a Hitachi cdplayer.  When I run xcdplayer I get

  20. superboy 1 > xcdplayer
  21. ioctl(cdromreadtochdr): I/O error
  22.  
  23. I have gone back to the release cdrom and pulled the x_cdplayer that
  24. came with 4.1.2.  If I run it after having already inserted the cd I get
  25. the response:

  27. I/O Error
  28.  
  29. If I run it with no cd in the player I get the application up but then
  30. upon inserting the cd it does not recognize that there is a cd in there.

  32. The message

  34. sr0: logical unit not ready
  35.  
  36. appears in the console wheneveer I try to play the cd.
