- I have a DECStation 3100 with a RX23 3.5" floppy in a DEC
- expansion cabinet. The floppy was not being recognized everytime
- the system booted up so I got DEC to replace the drive. The funny
- thing is that this new drive, which looks identical to the old drive,
- identifies itself as a RX33. This is impossible because the
- RX33 is a 1.2Mb 5.25" floppy. Both my field service guy and I
- are stumped. The strange thing is that the new drive seems to work
- fine.
