  12. I have a DECStation 3100 with a RX23 3.5" floppy in a DEC
  13. expansion cabinet. The floppy was not being recognized everytime
  14. the system booted up so I got DEC to replace the drive. The funny
  15. thing is that this new drive, which looks identical to the old drive,
  16. identifies itself as a RX33. This is impossible because the
  17. RX33 is a 1.2Mb 5.25" floppy. Both my field service guy and I
  18. are stumped. The strange thing is that the new drive seems to work
  19. fine.
