  13. We have a decstation5500 running ULTRIX V4.2A (Rev. 47).  The system was bought
  14. to run one large application for finite element analises.  We have been having this problem where after a day or more the program will nice itself to a level of 4.  Here is a sample:

  19. I have never heard of a program that would nice itself before.  Am I missing something, or is there something odd with our software or hardware?  Any ideas at all would be helpful!  Thanks!
