- Ok.. here's the scenario. I'm attempting to create a Computer Aided Control System
- Design environment. It is essentially a collection of tools like Matlab, MatrixX,
- Maple, etc. During evolution of a project, the control engineer will create hundreds,
- if not thousands of files. We want to use a relational (or object oriented) database
- that will keep track of this development.
-
- We don't need a heavy duty beast (hence I was fairly vague earlier), but something
- that will link certain fields together. Free would be best, but the only thing I
- found was Postgres... my system administrator is very reluctant to install this, even
- for testing purposes. So I guess I'll need something smaller.
-
- Any thoughts?
-
- Thanks,
