  13. I'm having problems combining licenses for NSR under Ultrix 4.3.  I've
  14. parked in front of this with bookreader for a couple of hours now, and I
  15. still don't seem to have it configured.

  20. Here's the scene.

  22. I just received 10 NSR PAKs.

  24. According to the documentation on BOOKREADER for combining multiple licenses,
  25. I use lmf register to register each pak.  Then use lmf load to register them.

  27. So I registered 2 of the pak's.

  29. Here's the output from a lmf list:

  38. Then, it says to combine the licenses, use the lmf load command.  And it 
  39. gives an example for loading multiple licenses.  Specifically, it says:

  41. For example, if you have registered two licenses for the product ALLSUM,
  42. you can form a single license in the kernel cache by typing:

  44. # lmf load 0 ALLSUM.
  45.  
  46. So I do a

  48. # lmf load 0 decnsr-net-clnt 
  49.  
  50. And I get:
  51. Combine DECNSR-NET-CLNT AL3-WM-92316-732 with DECNSR-NET-CLNT AL3-WM-92316-733

  53. Which is what the hell I was trying to do in the first place.  So now an
  54. LMF list shows:

  64. I think that the license is registered correctly (from the 2 in the total
  65. column), but everytime I do a LMF reset, I get the 
  66. 'Combine...' message printed above.

  68. So how the hell do I stop it?

  70. If I register 5 licenses, then fire up nsrd, I get:

  76. What am I doing wrong here?  Am I supposed to mod the units on the NET-SVR
  77. license to match the number?
