- We use John Eaton's man package. It's stored at

- It's a very nice C implementation of man. It has a "default manpath"
- feature that will obviate the need for users setting their MANPATH in
- most cases, although it does support MANPATH.

- The only problem I had with it is that the mkwhatis script didn't get
- very many man pages. You can either use the old whatis library, or
- hack the script, or ask me for our hacked script.
