  23. Not always, one of the approaches suggested in the excellent TCP
  24. wrappers package you can get from CERT is doing this, but using the tcpd
  25. to call it.  It enables you to log connections as well as remote user
  26. names (if you use RFC931 lookups).

  28. It will also allow/prevent connections from named machines, netmasks,
  29. netgroups over NIS, people spoofing DNS etc etc etc... :-)
