  16. I've seen some comments in this newsgroup about synchronous/async
  17. modes.  When I boot my system, the comment about the SCSI controller
  18. is that it is in "standard mode".

  20. I'm not unhappy with the current performance, but I will not hesitate
  21. to enhance it.

  23. Is something other than "standard mode" preferable?
