  26. .Sounds similar to what happen to me.  I had to take all peripherals
  27. .out of the computer - including serial board. The OS thought the
  28. .serial card (com1/com2) was a multiport Arnet serial board and
  29. .tried to do weird things, crashing the system.

  32. .I think - it's been a long time, I removed all lines except com1 & com2
  33. .and rebuild the kernel.

  40. I started out with just the cpu, vga card, monitor and mfm disk controller 
  41. and I still got that error.  I can not get past that to try your way, since 
  42. you seem to have had a close experience to mine do you have any 
  43. thoughts/advice.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
