  14. Not successful in setting pc as a client:
  15. (our yp master is on sun elc, running on sunOS 4.1.2)

  17. -appended '+::0:0:::' to /etc/passwd and '+:' to /etc/hosts files

  19. -ypinit -c (is ok)

  21. -ypbind is running

  23. -ypwhich  -m  is working(shows all maps)

  25. -ypmatch userid passwd is not working(can't match key user in map passwd,
  26.  Reason: no such map in server's domain) however,
  27.  ypmatch userid passwd.byname is working
  28.  
  29. -'chown' userid filename ....unknown user id ___

  31. it seems to me that the entry in the yp passwd is not accessible.
