- I'm running SCO UNIX 3.2.4 on an AMD 40Mhz chip-ed motherboard. It's run
- fine for nearly 9 months - very fine. So I doubt your complaint is

- Assuming we're running the same version of the OS, the serial ports
- are not installed until after the system installation. The Link Kit
- included. After booting into maintenance mode, I went into sysadmsh:
- System -> Hardware -> Parallel. There, I installed two 16550AFN ports
- on *one* card as follows - first installing 1 IBM port at the default
- address; secondly, installing 1 IBM port at the default address again;
- the first as COM1 and then COM2. I did *not* (could not) install
- this card as a multi-port card.
