- Hi,
- I have been running AMI motherboards for about 5 years and I have
- not had any trouble with them running UNIX, OS/2 or MeSsDOS. I currently
- have a AMI Series 50 Super Voyager that is running ESIX 4.0.4 and just about
- every option you can think of (SCSI tape, BUS Mastering SCSI controller, 2
- ESDI hard drives with controller (340 MB and 780MB), Bus mouse, etc). My
- old machine was a AMI Mark II 386/20 that has been running continously (UNIX)
- going on 4 years without a problem. I usually build or upgrade my systems
- around AMI motherboards. Also, for your information, at COMDEX today I saw
- the new AMI mb's that have the local bus. One word -> NICE! Look for them
- at a store near you.
-
- Dave.
