  22.     It is also possible to run the Netware shell and ethernet
  23. drivers from within a Merge session.  This is what what original
  24. poster said he wanted to do (although NFS or IPX/SPX may be what he
  25. really wanted).

  27.     In order run Netware drivers under Merge, you will need to 
  28. dedicate an Ethernet card for that use -- if you are using TCP/IP from
  29. the UNIX side, you'll need two Ethernet cards.  The Ethernet card
  30. being used by Merge should be configured as an ethernet card (e.g.
  31. "mkdev wdn1" for a Western Digital/SMC card) but not for TCP/IP.  The
  32. I/O and memory addresses of the card must be specified in an entry in
  33. /etc/dosdev as a direct connect device, e.g.
  34.  
  35.     net    d .240-25f.7.ca000-cbfff.    Direct attach WD8003E.

  37. and the corresponding device ("net" above) must be configured into the
  38. Merge session either by adding it when Merge is called (e.g. "dos
  39. +anet") or by adding the device to the default Merge startup options
  40. with "dosopt".
