- It really appears as if all calls to the gethostbyname() are simply
- getting into some sort of stalled state. When I try things like ping
- with the hostnames it just stops until I hit break. But when I try the
- IP address it works just fine.

- I'm not sure when this started happenning but recently I installed the
- Basic Networking package and configured sendmail. Besides this there
- have been no changes. Since I am not hooked up to a network I noticed it
- after some time had passed.

- Has anyone seen this on their system? I'm running ISC 2.2.1 with TCP/IP
- 1.2 on a 386 AT.
