- I have a friend of a friend who has a DG AViiON (DG/UX 5.4.1).
- They need to read about 20 tapes per week. These tapes were created on an
- IBM mainframe. A cobol program wrote the tapes in packed (computational) format.
-
- Does anyone know of a way to read these tapes onto the DG machine?
-
- Pointers to PD or commercial software would be greatly appreciated. Please
- email me directly as I do not read this newsgroup. I will post a summary
- of responses if there are sufficient requests.
-
- Thanks for your help.
