  12. I have a friend of a friend who has a DG AViiON (DG/UX 5.4.1).
  13. They need to read about 20 tapes per week.  These tapes were created on an 
  14. IBM mainframe.  A cobol program wrote the tapes in packed (computational) format.
  15.  
  16. Does anyone know of a way to read these tapes onto the DG machine?
  17.  
  18. Pointers to PD or commercial software would be greatly appreciated.  Please 
  19. email me directly as I do not read this newsgroup.  I will post a summary
  20. of responses if there are sufficient requests.
