- I am configuring "ispell" to run on a Sun Sparc. I wanted the "english.sml+"
- dictionary so I edited Makefile to reflect this. I am using "web2" as the
- spelling list and modified Makefile and local.h to reflect the path. When
- I type "make makedictsml+" everything looks good until it crashes with
-
- "make: Fatal error: Don't know how to make target `english.0'"
-
- A look at the Makefile seems to say that english.0 may be an
- intermediate file while the dictionaries are being made, but what else is
- missing?
- The only dictionary-oriented data file I have added to the ispell
- system is "web2," and that exists as /usr/local/dict/web2.
- It appears that the rest of the install will work when I find out
- the solution to this problem.
- Thank you.
