  13. I am configuring  "ispell" to run on a Sun Sparc.  I wanted the "english.sml+"
  14. dictionary so I edited Makefile to reflect this.  I am using  "web2"  as the
  15. spelling list and modified Makefile and local.h to reflect the path.  When
  16. I type "make makedictsml+" everything looks good until it crashes with 
  17.  
  18. "make: Fatal error: Don't know how to make target `english.0'"
  19.  
  20.     A look at the Makefile seems to say that english.0 may be an
  21. intermediate file while the dictionaries are being made, but what else is
  22. missing?
  23.     The only dictionary-oriented data file I have added to the ispell
  24. system is "web2," and that exists as /usr/local/dict/web2.
  25.     It appears that the rest of the install will work when I find out
  26. the solution to this problem.
