- I have a question about mixing Novell servers & Unix Servers on the same
- network.
-
- Configuration : 1 SUN Sparc Server, 10 SCO Unix servers, 20 DOS PCs running
- different TCP/IP Software such as FTP Software's PCTCP,
- SUN NFS, ICE TCP & Chameleon TCP, over a Cabletron Ethernet
- network. The DOS PC runs telnet to different Unix machines
- for different applications such as accounting or product
- development.
-
-
- Now Management wants to put a Novell server in to the network and allow DOS
- users to access both Unix resources and Novell resources. I am not too
- familiar with Novell and how to mix it in with the TCP/IP network I am
- currently running.
-
- Can I run dual protocols on the DOS PC to access both Unix and Novell?
- Can I use Unix or Novell to gateway between one another? Any
- info would be helpful.
-
- Thanks in advance.
