- Does your terminal emulator support more than 24 lines? From your
- description of what happens when you instruct your applications that you
- have a 35-line display, it sounds as if your terminal emulator is happily
- piling the last 12 lines on top of one another.

- I have had no problems using xterm in a non-standard size (e.g. 55x80) to
- rlogin to other systems where I told vi that my line-count was 55.
