  14. I am wondering how to get access
  15. to the files on another host or server.
  16. the question is raised when I try to
  17. install emacs myself in my bin/
  18. the problem is that I don't want to
  19. keep the lib/ myself in my home dir, it takes disk
  20. spaces. the system has the emacs lib/
  21. already, so I can just borrow the
  22. system lib/
  23.  
  24. my file is at host manta(DEC), and the lib files
  25. are at the server marlin(SUN). so how can tell the
  26. emacs during installation as where to get the 
  27. emacs lib/ file. (the path for the server marlin)
  28.  
  29. the trouble is, host manta is DECstation and
  30. it uses another DECstation mako as its server.
  31. I can get access to the mako's files.
  32. but I don't know how to get access to the
  33. SUN host marlin's file without using rsh.
