  11. Dear Netters,

  13.     Not too long ago, I was given an assignment in which I had to
  14. use semaphores.  We were given some functions that served as an
  15. interface to all those sem.h functions, it turned out that they
  16. weren't too consistent, and not too portable.
  17.  
  18.     And the question is!... Can any of you give me some guidelines
  19. on how to create my own semaphores?  I don't think that the man pages
  20. are enough for me... I get lost.  I just need some simple example to
  21. get me started.
