- I posted this to comp.unix.ultrix and didn't get any replies, so...
-
- Is there a way to debug a forked process under Ultrix? Ultrix's dbx does
- not support the "-a" argument for attaching to a running process that
- AIX's dbx does.
-
- I have heard that xdbx is able to do this, but can't figure out how, since
- it takes the same debugger arguments that dbx does. GNU gdb also does not
- seem to support this. I also grabbed xxgdb, but it needs some library or
- toolkit that I do not have, so I can't compile it.
-
- There must be some way to debug a forked process under Ultrix, but I can't
- find it. If you know, please mail me.
-
- Thanks,
-
- Scott
