- Probably best stick with Linux. 386BSD does not yet have shared
- libraries, which means that X binaries get very big very quickly. On
- a machine with more memory the difference would not be so pronounced,
- but while you can get away with 4MB for Linux/Xfree86, 386BSD in 4MB
- would probably be unbearably slow (although it should still function
- properly; both operating systems are incredibly robust for free
- software.)
