- I am trying to put together an automated backup script that can run on
- an UNIX machine. In order to get files from a MacIntosh, we can ftp files
- from that MacIntosh since it has an ftpd program running. But what I really
- want to do is use ftp to copy *all* the files from a MacIntosh hard disk
- to a UNIX subdirectory.
-
- Is there a way in ftp to do this -- perhaps with a macro defined by macdef?
-
- I have tried macdump/dumper -- it is a bad solution for a lot of reasons mostly
- having to do with System-7 incompatbility.
-
- Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. --Tim

- PS - The Mac has no NFS-server capability.
