- You need to get a null modem cable and some terminal emultion software
- for your laptop. Then you need to edit the /etc/ttys file and configure
- the com1 or com2 entry (whatever you are using) to run a getty process
- on that port. The man page on getty and/or ttys will probably explain
- the syntax better then me. I know it works though. I have used both
- a Wyse 50 terminal and an IBM XT running ProComm to access 386BSD from
- a serial port.
