  21. I've already got the XFree working. I would be happy to share my
  22. experience with you and others who have the same problem. A suggestion I
  23. would give here is to redirect the errors to a file by
  24.     xinit >& err;sync
  25.  
  26. then you will you some error messages that you don't see on the screen by 
  27. catting the file "err." In my case, I found out the permission of my mouse 
  28. port (com1) and the font path were not set properly.

  30. After doing that, if you still have problem running it, contact me if
  31. you would. I would do my best to help you out if I could. I have to tell
  32. you though, I am totally a beginner myself.
