  17. Just to clear the air on CODRV - I made the correct patch to conf.c
  18. that the documentation had incorrectly described and XFree86 1.1 came up
  19. smiling.  I did not do anything to X except apply the provided patches
  20. and remake a server.  Well done.

  22. Now the bell works, but the TIOCCONS ioctl() is either broken or /dev/console
  23. has changed device numbers (I should, in all fairness, look at this).

  25. By and large, I'd say it was worth it just for the bell alone - now I
  26. finally know when someone talk(1)s me in another window! (I run olvwm,
  27. so they're not always visible).

  31. Figure out what happened to xterm -C / xconsole.

  33. Figure out keycap(5) format well enough to remap my caps lock key
  34. to a control key.  This is not as easy as it sounds since the obvious
