- Problem: Machine goes into an infinite reboot when running
- 386BSD with the disk having BSD and MSDOS partitions.
-
- Machine Specs: Processor: 486DX/33Mhz
- RAM: 8MB
- Cache: 128K
- Disk: 100MB Kalok KL3100
- Chip Set: UMC (UM82C480)
- VGA Card: Cardinal VGA 16bit, 1MB
-
- Success: I've had success getting 386bsd running using the Kalok
- drive if I use the entire volume for BSD but I have to
- keep a msdoG partition around.
-
- I've had success running 386bsd using a Rodime RO3259AP
- 200MB disk with DOS and BSD partitions (I borrowed it from
- another machine to see if it might be the controller).
-
- If anybody else has had the same problem and has found
- a solution PLEASE email me with the solution.
-
- I have read the bug report and the bug is #1 on the list
- and the comment with the report is that there is/was a
- lot of discussion on ways around the problem.
-
- Is this bug fixed with some patch, if so which one. Any
- help is much appreciated.
-
- Thanks,
