  11. I remember reading somewhere that there is a minimum system binary
  12. distribution, that has the minimum c source, etc for building or patching a new
  13. kernel.

  15. My problem is that I have an 85MB hard disk.  I would like to get this to
  16. experiment with UNIX.

  18. I have looked on many systems and cannot find these component files.

  20. Also, how does one create a whatis.db for apropos using the standard BIN
