- I have ported f2c (att.research.com) to 386BSD - no problem. f2c
- is written by people around S. Feldman (Stu) from AT&T - the author
- of "A portable f77 compiler for unix". It's one if not *the*
- most truly f77 I've ever seen and it's free.
