- You must have some other problem.

- The MacX application in the /mac/MacX directory under A/UX is the same as
- the one shipped for the MacOS. Read this as THE SAME BINARY.

- The difference is the MacTCP driver used. A/UX has a modified MacTCP
- that
- will not work under the MacOS. If you copy the MacTCP from A/UX
- to the MacOS, it will not work. If you replace the MacTCP included with
- A/UX
- with the one shipped with MacX (if you buy MacX ), any application
- attempting
- to use MacTCP under A/UX will fail, must of the time the Finder session
- will
- crash.

- The only thing related to MacTCP that you can copy between the two
- operating
- systems is the MacTCP Tool located in the Extensions folder of the System
- Folder.
