  28. You must have some other problem.

  30. The MacX  application in the /mac/MacX directory under A/UX is the same as
  31. the one shipped for the MacOS.  Read this as THE SAME BINARY.

  33. The difference is the MacTCP driver used.  A/UX has a modified MacTCP
  34. that 
  35. will not work under the MacOS. If you copy the MacTCP from A/UX 
  36. to the MacOS, it will not work. If you replace the MacTCP included with
  37. A/UX
  38. with the one shipped with MacX (if you buy MacX ),  any application
  39. attempting
  40. to use MacTCP under A/UX will fail, must of the time the Finder session
  41. will 
  42. crash.

  44. The only thing related to MacTCP that you can copy between the two
  45. operating 
  46. systems is the MacTCP Tool located in the Extensions folder of the System
  47. Folder.
