- One more data point. I'm running 2.1c (latest patch), and installed the serial
- driver (over the modem no less :) and brought the system back up with no problem
- I don't use kermit much, but I do use 'cu' and dial in quite often. Never
- had a problem, but I did see some garbage that I wasn't expecting, though not
- as badly as before I installed the patch. Didn't fix the problem with the
- port hanging, though. That's a streams problem though, apparently. :(
