- try as we might, after using xhost to tell our RS/6000 about a SUN
- on our TCP/IP network, and using rlogin to connect to the SUN
- from one the Xstations, it won't run X applications -- it's
- unable to open the display on the Xstation.
- We have no problem doing this from any of the consoles (hft) after
- using setenv to set the DISPLAY. Apparently the problem has to do
- with there not being a proxyarp daemon running on the Xstations.
- We were hoping the new version of the system would address this,
- but apparently it hasn't.
- Any ideas will be gratefully accepted!
