- Can anyone reflect on positive or negative experiences with 3rd party
- hardware and the RS/6000?
-
- I'm in need right now of external SCSI-1 CD rom drives that work with
- the IBM.
-
- We're getting a model 580, but *any* and all experience will do. Our
- 3rd party hardware will probably come from AnDataCo in the form of a
- external disk tower with 8 bays, 4 full of 2.0gb disks to start (adding
- more as needed). The tower will have two scsi 2 chains with
- corresponding controllers.
-
- Many thanks.
