  13. Can anyone reflect on positive or negative experiences with 3rd party
  14. hardware and the RS/6000?

  16. I'm in need right now of external SCSI-1 CD rom drives that work with
  17. the IBM.

  19. We're getting a model 580, but *any* and all experience will do.  Our
  20. 3rd party hardware will probably come from AnDataCo in the form of a
  21. external disk tower with 8 bays, 4 full of 2.0gb disks to start (adding
  22. more as needed).  The tower will have two scsi 2 chains with
  23. corresponding controllers.
