  13. Sometime ago I mentioned that I was constantly getting DEV_BUSY message
  14. for my serial printer queue's after upgrading from 3.2.2 to 3.2.3. I also
  15. said that when I turned the DTR option for that serial port than things
  16. started working. Well it is more complicated.

  18. When I rebooted my system the DEV_BUSY problem came back despite the DTR
  19. being off. Than I said let me go and change something in the device
  20. description. So I changed the irrelavant timeout parameter. Again, things
  21. started working. The device was always listed as available. So, somehow
  22. when the system is booted something is not up for the serial ports but
  23. executing a change from the devices menu brings this up.

  25. Just for you info. I presume someone will have a solution perhaps IBM.
