- I have just started to experince a problem with messages being sent to
- MAILER-DAEMON everytime the queue is processed (30 min). The usual
- problems are no route, connection refused, etc. In the past this mail
- quietly rested in the queue for 3 days (the option T value) then mail was
- sent to MAILER-DAEMON. Now it seems that everytime the queue is processed
- a message is sent. And, to add insult to injury, MAILER-DAEMON is an alias
- to root which gets expanded so after awhile the "To: " lines start looking
- like this:
-
- To: addressee
- To: MAILER-DAEMON
- To: addressee
- To: root
- To: addressee
- To: root
- To: addressee
- To: root
- ...
-
- Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
