  14. I have just started to experince a problem with messages being sent to
  15. MAILER-DAEMON everytime the queue is processed (30 min).  The usual
  16. problems are no route, connection refused, etc.  In the past this mail
  17. quietly rested in the queue for 3 days (the option T value) then mail was
  18. sent to MAILER-DAEMON.  Now it seems that everytime the queue is processed
  19. a message is sent.  And, to add insult to injury, MAILER-DAEMON is an alias
  20. to root which gets expanded so after awhile the "To: " lines start looking
  21. like this:

  23.         To: addressee
  24.         To: MAILER-DAEMON
  25.         To: addressee
  26.         To: root
  27.         To: addressee
  28.         To: root
  29.         To: addressee
  30.         To: root
  31.         ...
  32.
