  24. You might try a newer elm (general suggestion, nothing to with
  25. your problem), but give the bsdcc configuration a try from the 
  26. /usr/lpp/bos/bsdport (bsd something at least) document or look
  27. for the definition to bypass the macro definitions in string.h 
  28. file (has some underbars and STR in it).
