- I have (had actually..) an Exabyte hooked up to a 560 running 3.2.
- When I created some backups using tar (ok ok.. I don't need a lecture about
- using tar vs dump vs XXX) and then try extracting them back, I sometimes
- get a SCSI timeout error. This if for ONE tar file, composed of MANY
- files ranging in size from 0K to 25Meg.
-
- The only way that I know of to remedy this is to start the tar extract
- again..
-
- Has anyone else seen this? Does anyone know if this is a known problem?
- Is there a fix?
