- I am trying to spool print files from our IP network to various Apple
- laserwriters on an Appletalk network through a RS/600 530 running AIX3.2.2.
- The two networks are bridged by KIP Gatorboxes. To
- do this, I grabbed CAP6.0 (patch 125) and compiled it successfully.
- I was wondering if anyone has come up with a general backend program for
- the AIX spooler which use the API functions which come with CAP. If not,
- am I stuck with either using the lwpr sample program as a simple backend,
- or porting over BSD lpr/lpd to AIX (to use papif)? I would greatly
- appreciate some hints/helpful advice from people running CAP
- on AIX... Email responses to amundson@fairview.cc.ndsu.nodak.edu are
- prefered.
-
- Thanks, Dennis
