- This is real simple. I was cruising through some code that I am
- converting to an RS/6000 from a sparc and looked up syslog in the
- InfoExplorer. The way IE describes syslog, the second argument is a
- char; not a char * like the Sun's version.
-
- Is this true or is IE just lying to me?
-
- How did the xlC headers come into this -- Well, I decided that it seemed
- like the header files would be a good place to look for function
- prototypes for syslog. The prototype wasn't in either of the files
- <syslog.h> or <sys/syslog.h> in the /usr/lpp/xlC/include directory.
-
- So where are the function prototypes for stuff like syslog and all that
- other wonderful stuff?
