  12. We just upgraded a machine to AIX 3.2 from AIX 3.1 and printing has died a
  13. horrible and untimely death.
  14. Symptoms:
  15. 1) printing to a local printers works, but we get a banner page even
  16.     though /etc/qconfig explicately says not to use banner pages.

  18. 2) any time someone tries to print to a remote printer (on a bsd machine)
  19.     they get the following:

  32. Where torreys is running AIX 3.2 and cannonball is connected to a machine
  33. running BSD 4.3.  I've tried rebuilding /etc/qconfig from smit with the
  34. same results.  Has anyone seen this before (and know how to correct it)?
  35. Or, did the upgrade replace part of the printer subsystems and leave us
  36. with part 3.1, part 3.2 (which would almost make sense).
