- Hello all,
-
- I am in the process of deciding if we want to run X-Windows on our
- 320H (3.1.7 right now, but I have the 3.2.3 tapes in hand). We are running
- a little shy on space :
-
- Filesystem Total KB free %used iused %iused Mounted on
- /dev/hd4 49152 11840 75% 1208 9% /
- /dev/hd2 172032 8204 95% 11591 26% /usr
- /dev/hd3 12288 7276 40% 33 0% /tmp
- /dev/hd1 45056 9940 77% 662 5% /u
- /dev/cd0 118884 0 100% 59442 100% /usr/lpp/info/En_US
- /dev/lv00 49152 17296 64% 269 2% /src
-
- And I don't really want to install the entire X system to evaluate
- some PC based software unless I have to. If we DO decide that we like X,
- I will install it when I do the conversion to 3.2.3..
-
- What I need to know is if there is an ULTRA minimum configuration/
- installation I can do for X just to get an idea. (Or, will I need to load
- it ALL into my system??)
-
- Any help is appreciated. I'd like replies sent personally to me,
- and will welcome anyones request for the information I get. (I don't get
- access to this list that often).
- Scott
