- I am looking for a package to draw our site network diagram at several
- levels of detail. It would be nice if the configuration details could be
- easily modified as the site changes.
-
- Tools to update the configuration using SNMP, ping, arp, netstat, etc would
- also be advantageous.
-
- Visualising would best be done via an X based interface. The
- interconnecting cables should be auto-routed unless otherwise stated.
- an X based editor could be provided to change box locations, cable routes,
- cable types, ...
-
- It needs to have 'levels' of devices, so the configuration could contain
- all details right down to keyboards and mice, while printing could be stopped
- at the host level, or include terminal servers, or include terminals, or ...
-
- Does anyone know of anything that does some or all of this? If I get any
- responses I will summarize to the net.
-
- Thank you,
-
