  13. I am looking for a package to draw our site network diagram at several
  14. levels of detail.  It would be nice if the configuration details could be
  15. easily modified as the site changes.

  17. Tools to update the configuration using SNMP, ping, arp, netstat, etc would
  18. also be advantageous.

  20.   Visualising would best be done via an X based interface.  The
  21. interconnecting cables should be auto-routed unless otherwise stated.
  22. an X based editor could be provided to change box locations, cable routes,
  23. cable types, ...
  24.  
  25.   It needs to have 'levels' of devices, so the configuration could contain
  26. all details right down to keyboards and mice, while printing could be stopped
  27. at the host level, or include terminal servers, or include terminals, or ...
  28.  
  29.   Does anyone know of anything that does some or all of this?  If I get any
  30. responses I will summarize to the net.
