- As an all around introduction to Artificial Life, Levy's book is very
- good. It's not a technical description, but gives a good history and
- interesting anecdotes on the major advances in alife from pre1987 - early 1992.
- It's a lot like Gleick's book on Chaos. I haven't read Lewin's, but Waldrop's
- book didn't impress me.
