- Announcing the availability of a Technical Report:
-
- "Toward A Universal Framework For Data Translation"
-
- This work is being done by the Nagiya Research Group at the Ohio State
- University. The Nagiya work has evolved from the Chameleon project at OSU. The
- purpose of this group is to expand upon the Chameleon foundation of automatic
- translator generation to support multiple data models.
-
- Nagiya is a word from the Oglala Sioux Indian dialect meaning - the retention
- of a spiritual essence regardless of physical form.
-
- This technical report is the beginning of our efforts to better understand
- the transformation of information as it is passed between applications and
- data models.
-
- Copies are available in Postscript or U.S. Mail by contacting
- tfletch@cis.ohio-state.edu. Please include your e-mail address if requesting
- Postscript or your U.S. Mail address otherwise.
